Calgary Chefs Collaborate on Dinner at James Beard House
We’re always happy to give MRCA’s hometown chefs a shout out, even more so when they’re on a big stage. Last night, Wed April 22, some of Calgary’s top chefs were in New York City for a collaborative dinner at James Beard House. As stages go, that’s a pretty big one.
The crew of wild western women included Alison Bieber of Black Pig Bistro, Connie DeSousa of CHARCUT Roast House, Nicole Gomes of Nicole Gourmet, Wanda Ly of WinSport Canada, and Karine Moulin of Hotel Arts Group along with Liana Robberecht of the Calgary Petroleum Club. We’re doubly proud because many of these restaurants are MRCA customers.
The Calgary chefs prepared a killer menu, showcasing a broad spectrum of awesome Alberta products, ranging from protein (beef and bison) to mustard and whiskey.
