Top Chef Canada Returns
After a three-year hiatus, Top Chef Canada is back… with a twist!
Season Five of the popular culinary competition will feature some of the most accomplished non-winning chefs from previous seasons battling it out for what eluded them all in the past: the title of Canada's Top Chef!
The new season, Top Chef Canada: All-Stars, premieres April 2 at 10 ET/PT on The Food Network.
In addition to the coveted title, the 12 all-star culinary experts will be fighting for a chance to win a $100,000 grand prize courtesy of Interac Flash, and a GE Monogram Kitchen valued at more than $25,000.
Toronto-based superstar chef and restaurateur Mark McEwan (who is also a Medium Rare client), will be returning to the judges’ table this season as head judge.
Each week, Chef McEwan will be joined by a panel of experts, including new host Eden Grinshpan (Eden Eats, Chopped Canada) and three new expert resident judges: food blogger Mijune Pak, restaurant critic Chris Nuttall-Smith @cnutsmith and restaurateur Janet Zuccarini @janetzuccarini.
Top Chef Canada is the homegrown version of the hit Emmy Award-winning NBCUniversal series, Top Chef.
