MRCA pal Brock Bowes has moved to Kelowna, BC’s RauDZ Creative Concepts as Executive Chef.

He’ll be responsible for overseeing RauDZ Regional Table with its local focus, and just-opened sister space micro bar • bites, which is a tapas concept with a more international feel.

Located in the heart of wine country in the Okanagan Valley, the restaurants are up the road a bit from Burrowing Owl Estate Winery and the Sonora Room, where Bowes wrapped up in October.

The move frees up multi-award winning restaurant owner and operator Chef Rod Butters and partner Audrey Surrao to build the brand of their independent company and continue to develop projects and pursue opportunities.

Bowes will be joined in the kitchen by Chef de Cuisine Robyn Sigurdson, marking the third time this dynamic chefing duo has worked side-by-side.

He’ll be bringing new culinary ideas into the mix with his background in classical French techniques, his love of Asian influences and his knowledge of local ingredients.
