MRCA lands in St. Petersburg
You can find MRCA's gear in top restaurants from Miami to Portland and from Vancouver to Fogo Island, off the coast of Newfoundland.
Now, you can add St. Petersburg to the list. Russia that is, not Florida. We got some rad pix of the crew at the The Ginza in St. Petes rocking their MRCA gear to prove it.
We’re looking forward to swinging by some time to say hello and, from what we’ve learned about the spot, we’d be in for a treat.
The Ginza is the flagship restaurant of Ginza Project, a hospitality and personal services company with 70 restaurants in St. Petersburg and Moscow. The company has also extended its high-end Mari Vana restaurant brand outside Russia, with well-received beachheads in London and New York City.
Not at all bad for an outfit that got its start in 2001 with a single sushi restaurant – called Ginza – in St. Petes. Guests dining at The Ginza today enjoy a unique take on Japanese cuisine, with influences from places as diverse as Italy and Uzbekistan.
Big in Russia? Not really. But it is pretty cool that the same spirit that draws North American chefs and restaurant peeps to our brand is present in Russia, too.
